Training Specialist to enhance the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs that will boost employees workplace performance in alliance with Information Protection policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for managing all phases of the training and awareness program. Mapping out training plans, designing and developing training programs (outsourced or in-house) for the general employee population as well as specific job roles within the Information Security organization to ensure alliance with company policies and procedures. Choosing appropriate training methods per case (simulations, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc). Marketing awareness of the InfoSec policies and procedures Identifying training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses and needs of the employee population. Conducting organization wide needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed Use accepted education principles and track new training methods and techniques. Assist in the Design and preparation of educational aids and materials. Assess instructional effectiveness and summarize evaluation reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPIs. Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with matter experts regarding instructional design. Stay abreast of new trends and tools in development of training and awareness programs.
