Software Developer and Configuration Engineer

The intern will be dedicated to the Enterprise Application software development team and the job will be focused primarily on supporting existing web and mobile applications and assist in maintaining the integrity of the development environments. The associate may also have a role in new development activities and participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
:Application Server maintenance and documentation
:Configuration and Release Management
:Continuous integration scripting
:Website development and maintenance
:Software application development
:Testing software applications for integration, usability, and functionality completeness
:Perform unit and system testing
:Troubleshoot software issues, apply problem solving skills and present and implement solutions
:Attend and report status in weekly team meetings
:Communication with stakeholders
:Other miscellaneous tasks
Skills :
:Working towards a Bachelor's degree in any of the following: Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering (Master level candidates are also encouraged )
:Application development experience utilizing object:oriented languages such as Java, C, or Python; scripting languages such as PHP, Perl, SQL
:Website development utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript
:Familiarity with the .NET environment
:Competency using Microsoft Office technologies
:Highly motivated, flexible team player with demonstrated ability to thrive in a business:critical high stress environment
:Highly organized with attention to detail and consistency
:Superior ability to prioritize and complete projects on a daily basis while working with multiple deadlines
:A self:starter with excellent collaboration and communication skills
:Strong problem solving, project management, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to think out of the box and implement creative solutions
