Highgate maintains corporate offices in London, New York, Dallas, and Seattle.Full:TimeThe Staff Tax Accountant will prepare tax returns for the various Highgater Hotel companies and will report to the Tax Senior Manager. Prepare annual federal and state tax returns, including but not limited to, trust, individual, partnership, corporations and not:for:profit returnsAssist with quarterly estimated income tax payments and annual extensionsUtilize and maintain standardized work papers and processesAssist with federal and state audits and other correspondence from tax authoritiesPreparation of annual property tax related formsPreparation of any special reports, statements, etc., as requestedOther special projects and responsibilities, as assignedBachelorA?s Degree in Accounting requiredCPA preferred1+ years of experience preparing federal and state returnsAbility to use research and tax preparation software (Prosystems Fx)Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to interact with individuals at all levels within the organizationAbility to work overtime as necessary to complete assigned tasks
