Working along side a managing market director and other regional support team members, the regional controller is critical in providing both the accounting expertise for the store support teams and the business acumen to provide effective operational support to store and regional management.Partner with the managing market director and the regional management team to drive store and overall market performance.Work closely with store management and regional management driving monthly activities such as monthly forecasting, monthly performance reviews, action plans, monthly advertising budgeting, and asset management including inventory and accounts receivables.Report accurate and timely financial results within 3 working days of month:endSupport financial and operational audits both internal and external.Drive best practices and continuous improvement to maximize store performance and a good balance municate, implement, and enforce policies and any changes to policy within the storesPartner with the dealership support center and dealership support services to provide transactional processing support to the stores.Analyze the performance and KPIs along with productivity metrics to identify and assist in achieving all performance improvement opportunities.Hire, train, and mentor all operational accounting leaders as well as any potential leaders that have been identified in the stores. Job Requirements and Qualifications:Automotive and or retail experience strongly preferred.3 years or more of relevant experience. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, customer service abilities, and good leadership and organizational skills. Proficiency with microsoft office applications. CDK/ADP experience. A roll:up the sleeves attitude with a strong work ethic. Character of the highest integrity.
