arketing Manager : Direct Hire in Irving/Las Colinas 75:80K DOE Research and Analyze Market and Trade data Recommend and Design Action Plans Based Specific Challenges, Analyze Service Changes and Impacts, Reporting Sales KPI to Trade, Maintain Sales Codes, Point of Contact for PIERS, Wheelhouse / Customer Advisories, Attend Meetings and Conferences, and Oversee all Functions of the Marketing Department. Research and Analyze Market and Trade Data Conduct research of market and trade data by using various reporting and research tools. This encompasses all Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Shared Marketing Reports. Sources include GAUS, SMART Analysis, PIERS, and Internet. Analyze data and develop action plan or strategy: especially with service scope changes. Ad Hoc Reporting including but not limited to: Seasonal: especially reefer; for equip logistics. Trade Analysis: carrier market share by commodity/destination. Customer Reports:missing shipper; target accounts for development. Commodity Studies:cargo base diversity/high grade; yield management coordination. Competitor analysis; identify their strategy. Recommend and design action plans based specific challenges Identify weakness challenges such as loss of specific market and make recovery plan. Identify opportunity challenges such as more light weight cargo autos to DXB/SE Asia. Identify, qualify and quantify risk impact and opportunities potential (i.e. transit delays; rotation changes; etc.). Analyze Service Changes and Impact Highlight potential impact of deployment changes to Sales regions for them to sell our strong points; what type of cargo to target to best meet KPIs. Determine reasonable and equitable target for service products based KPIs. Determine targets for specific cargo based on availability and competitive viability. Reporting Sales KPI to Trade Work directly with Trade Pricing departments to gather and record monthly/quarterly KPIs goals received from each Region office. Run monthly/quarterly reports thru GAUS/SMART to score KPI analysis. Report/Review final data to Trade Management for Salesman KPI Scores. Maintain Sales Codes in GAUS. Create, update and delete Sales system coding on a requested basis. Maintenance is required on an ad:hoc basis. Movement of accounts/customers is required as requested by each Region. Point of Contact for PIERS Marketing Manager is Point of Contact for any dealings with the PIERS system, maintenance and arranging training for all staff. PIERS system training is performed by PIERS/IHS directly. With the discussions and final approval from Trade Management and Seoul Headquarters, the annual contract is negotiated beginning in March of every year. Monthly/Quarterly/Bi:Annual/Annual reports are performed based on the certification schedule set by PIERS for the US Imports and Exports. Wheelhouse / Customer Advisories Create, review and/or edit any customer advisories requested to be sent thru the Wheelhouse Customer email distribution database. This database is also known as HASA/HMMA e:Newsletter. At time, customer advisories will also be requested to be sent to all industry publication thru a Press Release which will be released by media outlets on behalf of HMMA. Attend AHQ Meetings and Conference. Coordinate and facilitate AHQ Tuesday Weekly Department conference call. Attend Tuesday Trade Meeting Coordinate various Conferences, Meetings and Event Planning for off and on:site functions. These events include but not limited to TPM, PMA, HMM Strategy Meetings, Sales Workshops, etc. Oversee all Functions of HASA Marketing Department Supervise and monitor all activities within HASA Marketing Team. This function includes, but not limited to: Advertising / Publications (i.e. Drewry, SeaIntel, Alphaliner) / Multi:Trade Bid Coordination / Daily Market Reports / Trade Sell Sheets / Customer Advisories / e:Newsletter / Sales Manual / Promotional Give:aways / HASA,HMMA Social Media sites(i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube
