Plastronics Socket Company
(plastronics), successful, privately held engineering and manufacturing company serving the global semiconductor and interconnect industries for over 40 years has a need for an inside salesperson to work at its Irving, Texas headquarters.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

:
Answer incoming sales inquiries (phone and email).
:
Match company products with customer requirements.
:
Route qualified opportunities to technical sales for further development and closure.
:
Evaluate, strategize and execute a plan of action necessary to win a job.
:
Send out company quotes to customers.
:
Manage small house accounts.
:
Support external sales personnel.
:
Report quote activity and other sales metrics to sales management.
:
Work closely with sales team members to achieve sales quotas and goals.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

:
Strong phone presence answering multiple sales inquiries per day.
:
Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) products.
:
Excellent listening, verbal and written communications skills.
:
Ability to multi:task, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
:
Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings.
:
BA/BS degree or equivalent.
:
Prior inside sales experience a plus.
:
Familiarity with estimating, quotations, customer service and sales environment.
:
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, time sensitive sales environment.
:
Semiconductor and or connector industry experience a plus.

Salary is dependent on qualifications, experience, references and interview. The company provides medical insurance, vacation and 401K. Compensation includes salary and bonus.

This is a full:time salaried position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Some light domestic travel may be needed.
