POSITION TITLE Corporate Communications Manager OVERVIEW AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIP This position typically performs work in a corporate or field location and reports to the Vice President of Corporate Communications or Director of Corporate Communications. This position also works collaboratively with other Communications Directors, local leaders as well as corporate functions such as HR and IT. OTHER REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES 1. Responsible for managing all efforts involving assigned campaigns, programs or projects or major area of focus within Corporate Communications. This includes collaborating with members of the Corporate Communications team or members of other teams to optimize program design and strategy in order to increase results and effectiveness. Manages and delivers communications to key stakeholders and promotes across the company as appropriate. Consults on how to meet our standards and guidelines when needed. Develops and executes internal and external communication strategies through various techniques and tools (e.g. communications, events, programs, etc.) for the purpose of communicating critical information and strengthening engagement with employees and external stakeholders. This includes setting tactical and long:term goals, managinga budget, etc. 2. Writes, edits, and reviews a wide variety of communication materials for a broad audience of employees and external audiences (e.g., videos, email, social media, toolkits, FAQs, presentations, change programs, press releases, client messages, etc.). 3. Partners with business leaders and human resources to coordinate, collaborate and promote a strategic employee communication plan and identify communication opportunities to promote and achieve a culture of service excellence and employee engagement. 4. Assists with the implementation tactics related to public relations and goodwill programs to improve the CompanyA?s relations with the public, industry, investors, clients, customers and employees. Assists in the development of public relations programs to ensure the company is widely and positively represented in legislative and regulatory affairs, the general business press and industry and vertical market publications, as well as industry analysts. 5. Responsible for the day:to:day content management of corporate and internal web sites. QUALIFICATIONS 5 or more years of internal and external communications experience. Demonstrated ability to manage internal client relationships, including executive level, in mid to large size organizations, preferably a public company. Comfortable working with and providing counsel to high:level executives and senior management. Proven track record of implementing internal and external communications programs. Strong presentation and project management skills. Effectiveness in working in a matrixed, cross:functional organization. Demonstrated ability to build consensus among diverse leaders and manage sensitive situations discreetly. Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills. Proven record managing communications programs that have achieved measurable results. A strong customer service orientation is essential. Demonstrated ability to adapt to the changing demands of business is a must. Demonstrated ability to create effective communications for a broad audience by filtering complex content. EDUCATION BachelorA?s degree in Communications, Journalism, Human Resources, Business, Marketing or related field. A masterA?s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
