Ascension Health at Home is a partnership between Ascension Health, the nation’s largest not-for-profit healthcare system, and Evolution Health, a nationwide leader in out-of-hospital care, population health management and mobile integrated healthcare. This partnership provides an array of services – home health, hospice care and infusion therapy – to patients in their homes in the markets served by Ascension Health ministries. Position Summary:Implementation and monitoring of front end policies, procedures and processes, providing support and training to site staff. Troubleshoots problems and advises on the appropriate action based on AR analysis. Communicates trends identified to staff and management Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide leadership, education and direction to Home Health site staffDevelop and implement processes related to RAP and EOE submission, and corrective action for incomplete claimsMonitor various reports such as claims on hold, episodes without RAP, episodes without final claim, missing orders, RAP suppression ratio, etc. and work with sites to address specific issuesEstablish regularly scheduled meetings via phone and conduct site visits as necessary to monitor processes, discuss issues and communicate changes and updatesRegularly communicate with medical records and pre-billing audit team to monitor and resolve issuesConsults and communicates with all members of the department and management on a regular basis to coordinate and address department progress in support of revenue growthNew site onboarding to include:Staff training on policies and proceduresSpecial projects and reporting as requiredDevelop and maintains effective lines of communication with front end staff and billing providing feedback on a regular basis35% – 50% travelMaintains a high level of confidentialityAdhere to all company policies and procedures. Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Education/Licensing/Certification:High school graduate Experience:Five (5) + years of experience in Revenue Cycle2 (2)+ years of experience in the Home Health industry a plus Knowledge and Skills:Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipmentKnowledge of relevant tracking applicationsAbility to prioritizeProblem-solving abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to communicate with and provide direction to all levels of employees within an organization as well as communicate effectively with all external customers / vendorsStrong written communication skillsStrong attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skillsProven ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines .
