Principal Accountabilities or Duties: Reports directly to the General CounselKey responsibilities include drafting and reviewing various types of agreements including confidentiality, consulting, services agreements; commercial vendor and other services:related agreements; and sales RFPs/RFIs;Assist in the development and refinement of contract templates;Oversee outside counsel and manage litigation;Work collaboratively with internal clients to set appropriate priorities and deliver results within the timelines established;Use of independent judgment and discretion, as well as, a high degree of skill in interpersonal relations, work organization, professionalism, communications, initiative, and flexibility.QUALIFICATIONSEmployee must be articulate, demonstrate superior communication, negotiation, people and organizational skills, and be comfortable and confident in dealing directly with all levels of management. Knowledge of networking, service providers or software industries is preferred. Employee must be able to work independently but collaboratively with other company professionals.REQUIREDMust have a minimum of 6:10 years corporate and contract legal experience.Direct experience negotiating complex business transactions in a high:tech sales :depth knowledge of commercial contracts and business law.Litigation experience is a huge plusThe ability to read and understand complex contract provisions.The ability to draft language for inclusion in legally binding contracts.Requires JD degree.PREFERREDExperience supporting an in:house sales organization.Experience in managing litigation.Software and business process outsourcing a plus.Heavy Technology related experience a plus.
