JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Device Connection Platform (DCP) is a connectivity management offering for telecom operators to addresses Internet of Things (IoT) business opportunities. The platform is offered as a service by Ericsson to our operator channel partners which in turn sell managed connectivity services based on DCPs capabilities to their enterprise customers. The telecom operators are the only channel to sell the DCP based services. DCPs business model relies on a revenue share percentage of the operator sales. A new unit is created in DCP in order to support the operator channel partners to shorten the time it takes to sell managed connectivity and to create market pull by influencing global enterprises to require DCP capabilities in their connectivity RFx. In addition, this unit has the responsibility to create material and perform marketing activities towards operators and especially towards selected enterprise segments. We are looking for an experienced sales person taking on several of the following roles/responsibilities:guide newly acquired operator partners through the process to establish a go to market strategy & establishment,support to establish operator channel partner marketing campaigns,help operator channel partner sales to acquire new enterprise customers and to create leads among global enterprises looking for managed connectivity offers,engage with further ecosystem partners to create a market pull for the services & capabilities from DCP. Responsibilities & TasksRun workshops with operator partners to guide them in the process to establish a clear go to market strategy & execution planEnhance regularly the existing go to market material with new capabilities of the DCP service and new case studiesSupport operator partners in choosing the appropriate DCP services & functionality to define their products they want to launchDevelop and execute a M&C plan with prioritized operator channel partners in close collaboration with DCP and Industry & Society SalesCreate sales & marketing materials for operator channel partnersWork with operator channel partner sales team to ensure partners have good portfolio knowledge and supporting sales collateralCo-develop co-marketing programs (direct marketing outreach) and estimated expenditures that clearly demonstrate the link between desired business outcome and chosen activitiesMeasure the impact of the co-marketing programs and course-correct as requiredInfluence global enterprises to include DCP capabilities in their managed connectivity RFxLeverage relations already existing in the Industry & Society sales team with global enterprisesEstablish relations with adjacent ecosystem partners which influence the selection of managed connectivity solutions towards their clients (e.g. IoT platform providers, system integrators, etc.)Identify critical requirements which would enhance the DCP service offering & could attract further enterprise customersCollaborate with the operator sales teams to close existing business dealsIdentify & specify further needed sales and channel partner tools to ease the sales process of the operators QUALIFICATIONS Position Qualifications:Domain knowledge (embedded connectivity sales to enterprises)Business acumenValue argumentation skills (customer/brand/portfolio)Market insight and analysisRelationship buildingStakeholder ManagementProject Management Behavioral Competences:Analyzing & formulating strategiesPresenting & influencingWriting & reportingAdapting & responding to changePlanning & organizingWorking under pressure Qualifications & Experience:University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering or equivalent training/experience5+ years of related experience working at a telecom operator sales/product team creating & selling managed connectivity offerings and/or IoT solutions or working at global enterprise and being responsible to source & embed connectivity solutions in products & servicesExperience working in a global teamPrevious experience with the DCP service portfolio is a plus Preferred Qualifications & Experience:Experience working in a dynamic and fast moving environmentExperience in supporting sales engagements with channel partners in indirect salesExperience in marketing with channel partners in indirect salesExisting relations to global enterprises in Europe and/or Asia. Language:Fluency in written and spoken English. Additional language skills a plus.
