Job Description:/h3:
:Monitors all radiology reading queues; Identifies and troubleshoots where any delays or miscommunication occur, monitors individual physician queues to insure that cases are read in a timely fashion. Notify management of system issues impacting reading efficacy.
:Contact doctors and phone to read cases as needed.
:Notification to customers when cases are delayed with estimated completion time if known.
:Interacts with and responds to all written and verbal communication from radiologists, customers, and all other internal and external staff in a timely and courteous manner.
:Relays critical findings as identified by the radiologist to the ordering facility and/or physician.
:Documents, researches, and resolves customer issues using the computer system.
:Upholds client and patient confidentiality at all times.
:Assists with the training of new department employees.
:Maintains regular consistent attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance.
:Adheres to all company regulations as stated in the company handbook.
:Other duties as assigned

:Excellent verbal and written communication skills with knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
:Minimum 2:4 years experience in a medical environment providing direct patient care. Formal training in the medical field, medical terminology and anatomy. Examples: nursing, x:ray tech, physical therapy etc.
:Excellent computer keying skills required (minimum of 35 wpm and 10:key by touch).
:Attention to detail.
:Ability to work under pressure and meet expected deadlines.
:Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
:Outstanding customer service skills to deal effectively with co:workers and clients.
:Ability to work in a team environment as well as with minimal guidance.
:Willingness to work in a fast paced high volume environment.
