We offer competitive compensation packages, full medical coverage, 401k with company match and so much more Come be a part of a unique vision and company The Patient Clinical Coordinator is responsible for effectively educating patients on the necessity of having EEG studies conducted through Alliance Family of Companies (AFC) at the request of their physician, and scheduling new patients in accordance with established procedural guidelines.Schedule patients for diagnostic procedures using an EMR system and is persistent in efforts Empathize and relate to patient, overcome patient and familial objections, and address patient questions and concerns to ensure scheduling of the diagnostic procedure Create and establish a relationship of trust with the patient to ensure the highest level of quality care is received to minimize suffering and assist in a diagnosis Analyze, extract and interpret pertinent information from patient medical records and develop the medical terminology and professional acumen to get a patient in compliance with physicianA?s orders Effectively communicate logistical concerns with clinics, healthcare providers, technical staff and patients Protect the fiscal and clinical performance of AFC by reviewing all physician orders for completeness and accuracy and ensure the patient meets referral criteria Create web:based appointments, obtain patient and procedural information and track patient demographics following compliance procedures Resolve scheduling conflicts as needed, distribute and update schedules Perform computer data entry and retrieval Assist in the development and training of the scheduling team Perform other duties as assignedEducation/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent is required One year inside sales experience in a medical setting is required One year of customer service experience is requiredClinical experience strongly preferredAbility to read and interpret clinical notes on a professional levelKnowledge of medical terminology and proper communication of diagnosisEasy navigation of medical paperwork Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish is desirable Previous experience in EMR systems is preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications Ability to pay a high level of attention to detail Must be highly organized with the ability to multi:task Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time Talking and hearing Repetitive use of fingers and hands Reaching with hands and arms Clarity of vision at 20 feet or less Mental Requirements: Data entry Perform mathematical functions Read, evaluate and interpret data
