In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, activating and enabling a new breed of Channel Partners focused on next generation technology and services. This includes training Partners on generating and closing new security business. You are a A?hunterA? and need to have a results:oriented mindset with a passion for over:achieving sales targets while exceeding customer expectations. You will be playing a key role by influencing new and existing Trend Micro Partners to lead with Trend Micro cloud solutions or imbed Trend Micro security in their offering To be successful in this position you will need to have a more in:depth understanding of cloud environments and fully understand all aspects of complex selling in an enterprise technology market.Develop and maintain an on:going in:depth education/certification and knowledge of Trend Micro products, services, licensing and business processes. Be creative in finding new business models that fit the cloudFollow sound sales processes and steps including creating and implementing a strategic territory plan to drive partner identification, qualification, activation and enablement targets.Work with industry partners to identify and onboard joint channel partners Personally engage new partners from start to full enablement to ensure a consistent onboarding experience including reconciling and processing ongoing sales orders to achieve a quicker revenue stream for the partnerDevelop and maintain a strong relationship and communication with the regional sales force, traditional channel development team and senior:level relationships within the partners.Develop and execute a regional plan for activating technology:focused partners.Work with partners to ensure their billing model is supported to convert contracts into revenue.Provide an on:going, up:to:date dashboard of personal activities by partner and region to management and regional sales teamsProvide initial/first troubleshooting on product, service and business process challenges for the partner, then utilize cross:functional resources with the global and region teams to provide appropriate support throughout the partner experience.Drive regional Partner Day events as neededAdhere to CRM, business systems and activity standards.Travel within your assigned territory as necessary.Minimum of 5 yearsA? experienceIn:depth understanding of next generation security technologies (certifications recognized)Success identifying and enabling channel partners through demonstrated relationship managementProven record of achieving planned business strategies and quotaSuccess developing and closing a volume of business through channel partnersKnowledge of CRM Systems and Order Processing Systems5+ years experience of enterprise software sales, preferably in a security:related fieldSuccessful experience working with channels with a focus on managed or outsourcing servicesHistory of extensive and consistent cold calling skills to identify, onboard and activate partnersStrong negotiation and closing skills including a demonstrated ability to manage a complex sales cycle to closure.Strong qualification skills and can motivate prospectsBe able to develop and support channel partnerA?s new pipeline opportunitiesTre
