The Fleet Funding Specialist : CVL is responsible for the gathering and validation of required contract documentation, performing accurate and complete verifications of critical information, entering accurate data into the fleet management system/other related systems, and the expedient funding of accounts for commercial fleet customers. This position requires the ability to professionally develop and maintain positive relationships with internal team members/departments and external customers/parties to ensure and maximize customer experience. JOB DUTIESEffectively gather and consolidate all required legal documents and stipulated documents/information necessary to efficiently and expediently fund accounts for commercial fleet customers.Perform accurate and complete verifications of critical information associated with established funding policies and procedures.Efficiently utilize the fleet management system/other related systems where relevant to perform accurate data entry, process account funding activities for efficient distribution of funds, and to document processing activity as needed for archiving purposes.Provide exemplary customer service and support to commercial fleet customers, dealerships, related vendors and internal parties, taking professional ownership to provide prompt response and effective resolution of specific concerns. Manner of communication involves inbound/outbound calls, email, fax, and other acceptable means of correspondence.Ensure that critical contract documentation is properly retained/archived/maintained in accordance with established records retention policies and procedures.Assist and train commercial fleet customers in the proper and efficient use of the customer:facing interface associated with the fleet management system, including any other related systems where applicable.Assist in activities related to the A?take:overA? of a commercial fleet customerA?s vehicle portfolio currently being financed through another lender.Utilize applicable fleet management systems in accordance with assigned roles and responsibilities, ensuring that proper authority is obtained for any related processing exceptions.Participate in user:acceptance testing as a subject matter expert regarding the use of related fleet management systems.Demonstrate effective communication skills when listening to and speaking with commercial fleet customers, dealers, vendors, internal parties, and others.Collaborate with peers and management to share and implement best practices.Effectively communicate any operational concerns or issues to management for prompt analysis and resolution. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPReports to: AVP Operations : CVLDirect Reports: NoneKnowledgeBasic understanding of vehicle finance operations with emphasis in captive auto finance loan, lease and fleet product offerings and contract funding to commercial borrowers.Working knowledge in the use of vehicle finance originations systems and fleet management systems.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.SkillsStrong and professional verbal and written communication skills, especially in the areas of customer service and during times of problem resolution and stressful conversations.Strong attention to detail and thorough documentation skills a must.Ability to consistently and accurately follow established policies and procedures.Fast learner with the ability to be flexible and positively adapt to change in a dynamic working environment.Technical skills in the general use of computer:based software and applications a must.Strong data entry and typing skills.Ability to work well with others in a team environment.ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent GED required.Automotive finance experience preferred with commercial vehicle and/or fleet services background a plus.WORKING CONDITIONS:High energy and fast paced office environment, subject to stressful conditions and requir
