Shift: Monday through Friday 1:30 P.M. : 10:00 P.M.
Department: Warehouse : Grand Prairie, TX
:Comply with good manufacturing practices (GMP) as required.
:Comply with Dart Container's policies and procedures.
:Operate forklift/clamp to pick, pull and load finished good product for internal and external customers.
:Inspect and prepare an in/outbound product for storage or shipment in accordance to Warehouse procedures.
:Follow radio frequency WMS (warehouse management system) to ensure that products are shipped and received accurately.
:Conduct Vehicle Inspection Reports on any vehicle operated in the course of the job duties and reporting mechanical problems promptly.
:Stack product in a uniform and damage free condition reporting all problems to the appropriate people in order to minimize damage; warehouse Cleaning as required and in preparation for audits/inspections.
:Utilize critical thinking skills to load up to 3500 cube on a trailer efficiently.
:Utilize critical thinking skills to identify problems while receiving/shipping to ensure inventory accuracy.
:Perform the general duties of the job as well as other duties as assigned to accommodate the needs of the business.
:Maintain product quality, safety and legality.
Core Skills and Qualifications::/h1:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
:Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on:going communications about safety and quality issues
:Ability to work overtime as needed
:Ability to work weekends as needed
:Ability to operate a forklift/clamp in a safe and efficient manner
:Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for loading, unloading, and inventory purposes
:Ability to communicate job specific processes, using both verbal and written communication skills
:Two (2) years experience in a Warehouse environment
:Two (2) years experience in operating aPowered Industrial Truck (PIT)
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
:Two (2) years of experience in a distribution environment
