Job Description:/h3:

Product : Design and implement software for our health care products:
Adhere to Austco Product Development Process, Guidelines and Procedures
Design and implement software components as needed
Responsible for deliverables as it relates to software product development
People :
Work with our software engineers to design and implement solutions

Work with cross functional team of engineers to:
Contribute to daily stand:ups, sprint planning meetings and retrospectives
Review project requirements and help define acceptance criteria with the team
Design and implement client solutions making appropriate use of software design patterns and best practices
Help research and resolve client:reported issues
Estimate tasks to facilitate iterations planning

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
8+ years of experience developing SW (C, C++) for Embedded Processor systems including architecture, design specification, coding, testing, support, etc.
Multi:threaded and multi:processor system development using embedded Linux platforms.
Experience profiling and improving high:performance low:latency embedded development on X86 and ARM processors.
5+ years of experience building and configuring Ubuntu based Linux distributions as well as developing, porting, and integrating Linux device drivers
Proficiency in Unix shell scripting as well as higher level scripting languages (BASH, PHP, Python)
Experience with VoIP, telephony configuration and asterisk server
Proficiency operating in Linux:based Operating Systems such as Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, Suse, etc.
Experience with Postgres database administration
2+ years of hands:on experience with advanced Linux technologies (at least two of the following: KVM Virtualization, Clustering (RHCS preferred), Network/Kernel Performance Tuning, Enterprise Storage (SAN, iSCSI, DRBD, GFS2, etc.), OpenStack, OpenVPN, Nagios, or Samba4)
2+ years of hands:on, command:line, advanced Asterisk experience (versions 1.8, 10, 11, or 12). This includes compiling, working with modules, custom dial plans, SIP/IAX2 trunking configuration, troubleshooting SIP/IAX2 issues, utilizing Asterisk debugging tools, and other advanced skills
2+ years of TCP/IP Networking Experience (switching, routing, sub:netting, Linux network configuration)
Experience with Android 4.0+ and ADB
Proven ability to work as a team lead supporting several product lines
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to work as a team lead supporting several product lines
Knowledge of network interfaces, such as 1G / 10G / 40G Ethernet and SONET
Knowledge on virtualization frameworks VMware/kvm
Knowledge of Agile design methodology
Knowledge of SVN, Ant, Maven
Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean processes
