The IT Tier 1 Technician is responsible for providing end user support and software, hardware, and network assistance to 7 dealerships. Relies on experience and judgment as well as pre:established procedure and instructions to identify, research and resolve technical problems presented through Level I, II and III (when possible) help desk tickets. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.Troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets related to technical difficulties with hardware, software, and the network.Triage Level II and Level III trouble ticketsResolve Network switch and connectivity issuesCollaborate with development staff to recreate problems in the test environmentVerify issue resolution on the customerA?s behalfVerify with the customer that the issue has been resolved and update the ticketing systemInterface with infrastructure, database, and development personnelCommunicate plan, progress, and issues in a timely mannerActively contribute to ongoing process improvementPerforms other duties or special projects as assignedAbility to complete multiple simultaneous projects in a timely manner2+ years customer support/help desk experienceStrong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skillsAbility and desire to provide excellent customer:service to internal customersWorking knowledge of MS operating systems and applicationsAbility to work independently and in a dynamic environmentAutomotive software experience a plusBachelors degree in IT, engineering, computer science or a related field requiredTravel involved weekly to 5 Dallas based stores and monthly to Austin and Houston.Must be able to pass pre:employment screens, drug test and background testWhat full:time benefits am I eligible for?Weekly pay checksPaid vacation time off after 60 daysMedical, dental and vision insurance available after 60 days401K retirementFlexible medical spending accountsSupplemental life insuranceShort term and long term disability packagesEmployee referral programWellness program
