The Applications Solution Manager will lead complex projects and ensures the success of enterprise:level application rollouts. Determines and develops architectural principals and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems, and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications. May contribute to the planning of the overall organizational IT strategy. Finally, the Application Delivery Manager is responsible for the supervision of Application Delivery staff including, but not limited to, conducting performance reviews, mentoring staff in best practices and problem solving, supervision of project tasks, resource allocation to projects, and production issue resolution.Provide day:to:day guidance and direction to team members related to technical issues and challenges.Lead / Create architectural artifacts supporting active initiatives in an agile environment.Facilitate a collaborative approach to problem solving and make well:reasoned decisions.Champion the companyA?s project and development methodologies and act as a guide and reference for other staff members.Ensure standards are maintained, balancing consistency with flexibility to support business needs.Establish quality standards, checkpoints, and communications processes to ensure project quality.Create and maintain status reports for initiatives as required.Provide guidance for optimization of IT and business policies / procedures / processes.Escalate issues as appropriate to management both inside and external.Oversee delivery projects to ensure architectural compliance and success.Create transitional architectural documents to aid in large and complex system planning and delivery.Facilitate all management, development, maintenance and performance initiatives related to the systems assigned to this position.Maintain an understanding of the systems assigned to this position.Actively participate in vendor user communities and other professional organizations to remain current and forward thinking in trends and application of assigned systems.Read technical journals, manuals and materials provided by vendors to learn about systems capabilities.Maintain an awareness of industry and market best practices to generate ideas for ongoing systems improvements.Support a strong business partnership focus throughout the department.BachelorA?s degree from an accredited college, including or supplemented by 24 semester credits in computer science or a related computer field and four years of satisfactory.5+ years of industry experienceComputer software experience in computer systems development and analysis.Experience in OOD/OOP, Java or C, and Web development (AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS), highly scalable systems, device development and performance testing.A minimum of 5:7 years leading large scale application architecture efforts for cloud or on premise deployments utilizing DevOps.Minimum of seven years of experienced designing, administering, and implementing software solutions.Extensive knowledge of software architecture principals for on:premise and cloud environments.Demonstrated supervisory and project leadership skills.Ability to communicate equally well with business and technical stakeholders.Excellent organizational and project management skills; understanding of project management best practices.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Exposure / training / certification with Lean / Six Sigma process optimization.Acosta Sales and Marketing is an Equal Opportunity Employer
