An Information Security Administrator supports the organization by assisting the associate base in complying with corporate policies. IS Administrator will support data collections for SOX, PCI, CPNI, COBIT and other regulations. The position also calls for the drafting of documentation for policies and then communicating those policies to associates. Working under the supervision of the Information Security Manager, the IS Administrator will research compliance controls, audit departments to ensure continued compliance and report infractions to management. The IS Administrator will occasionally be involved with the development and implementation of new controls. This may require research and analytics to determine scope and include contacting vendors for pricing. The position requires information security knowledge, project management skills and attention to detail. Collaborate with other departments within Securus to ensure the timely delivery of audit materials on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.Manage repository for control documentation and update documents as needed.Perform internal control testing to validate design and operating effectiveness and document results in the repository on a timely basis.Participate in post:mortem reviews and ensure lessons learned are integrated into the regulatory compliance process.Conduct research into governmental and commercial security controls.Research mechanisms and tools for control compliance.Conduct periodic audits of business entities to ensure continued compliance.Prepare extensive policy documentation and periodic review and update of existing documentation.Assist Information Security Manager with Security related projects as necessary.Must exhibit all of the CompanyA?s Cultural Attributes.Some after:hours work may be required to meet deadlines or execute duties within Change Control.Prefer candidate will possess an industry recognized Information Security certificate, such as: Security+, CISSP, CISA, SSCP, CSIH, GSNA, GSAE.Broad knowledge of Information Technology departments in mid to large organizations.Knowledge of Information Security principals and activities.Attention to detail.Ability to work with urgent deadlines.Advanced Microsoft Office skills : Outlook, Excel, Word.
