PrimeSource Building Products Inc., one of the nations largest wholesale distributors of building supply products, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Information System Analyst (HRIS). This position will be based in our Irving, Texas corporate office. The HR Information Systems Analyst evaluates how well the companyA?s HR system supports and short:and long:term corporate objectives while suggesting methods for improvement and increasing efficiency. The analyst is responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and maintaining HRIS solutions, as well as training employees on changes in HR systems, payroll and/or processes.The analyst will perform the following duties:Assess companyA?s HR information needs and plan for changes in HR systems to meet these needs.Optimizes the use of technology and develop tools to minimize transactional HR activity.Manages the implementation and changes to HR systems.Analyzes current problems and review system capabilities to determine how to conduct operations more efficiently.Researches, designs, implements, and maintains HRIS solutions.Processes basic payroll activities such as new hire and terminations within ADP WPN system.Provides training and user support after changes in systems and/or procedures are implemented.Reviews, tests, and implements system upgrades or patches.Serves as a liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll) to ensure that they are fully supported by and efficiently using HR systems.Manages and creates data reports and metrics in consultation with internal clients.Maintains awareness of current trends in HRMS.Performs additional duties as requested.Eduation: Bachelors degree in computer science, human resources or a related subject. Experience:3:5 years experience in HRIS or similar role. ADP Workforce Now or Similar HR system preferred. ATS/Learning and Development platform knowledge (i.e. iCIMS/Cornerstone, etc.) General payroll functionality knowledge preferred. Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Human resource systems; Internet software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Strong computer aptitude, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs. SAP experience a plus.
