POSITION SUMMARY: Position is accountable for timely delivery of critical components required for the development, deployment and management of Internet strategies for Motel 6 /Studio 6. The E:Commerce Web Analyst is responsible to provide analytical reports of contribution and trends of electronic distribution to Marketing in order to make positive decisions to maximize our company revenues via electronic channels. This position is critical in providing analytical reporting for use in identifying and recommending potential programs, system/ service enhancements, and strategies/tactics to maintain and enhance the CompanyA?s position as a competitor for the online customer purchasing travel. While focusing primarily on analytics for the websites, this position is responsible for all assignments from the Manager, Ecommerce Analytics.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The individual occupying this position must be able to perform essential job functions set forth below with or without reasonable accommodation.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:This document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the individual occupying this position. This is a representative list of the general duties, and it not intended to be all:inclusive.Collaborates with cross:functional teams to define reporting requirements for the G6 website presenceInteracts with development teams to maintain requirements for Adobe web platform for analyticsLeads and responsible for tag management of websites for efficiency in tracking and reportingEngaged with third:party vendors supplying analytical tools and serves as a liaison to partners to ensure success with various projectsKeeps skills and knowledge of tools current and is department A?expertA? for functionalityAnalyzes web activity and user trends with software from Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to position G6 competitively in the market place and to analyze brand website promotional programs ROI.Works with other G6 Departments for requests for statistical information for electronic distribution and website performance.Provide reports and dashboards with insights that drive changes in the business.Performs ad:hoc analysis as necessary to answer business questions and drive decisions.Stays abreast of web analytics trends and best practicesSupports Manager/Vice President/CMO with presentation materials on E:Commerce, as requested Available for team projects or new reports, as required. Job Requirements:Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of timeRead and interpret documents and instructions from customers, vendors, and other employeesCommunicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other employeesMulti:task and prioritize workload Work within the appropriate level of independenceFunction in a fast:paced environmentAbility to adjust or flex work hours to meet critical deadlinesDemonstrated proficiency in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or other comparative toolsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Minimum of 3 yearsA? experience in web analytics, including knowledge of website design.Use of web analytics systems such as Google Analytics or Adobe AnalyticsExceptional verbal communications skills, with ability to interact with Executive level Management as well as hourly personnel.Demonstrated ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with both internal and external clients and vendorsMulti tasker, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver critical components on time. Ability to adjust, flexibility of work hours to meet critical deadlines.Strong knowledge of search; both SEO and SEMDemonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint Experience in hospitality preferred, but not necessaryRequired to locate at G6 Corporate Offices in Carrollton, TX
